Wire Forms and Flat Springs have few limits when it comes to applications. The constraints are usually in the form of materials. We can and have formed many different shapes from round wire and flat materials. Four slide tooling offers many advantages over conventional punch press tooling. A few advantages are, material is purchased to finished width reducing scrap, no die set is needed, material can be formed past 90 degrees, and flat or round material can be formed in a Four-slide.

The four-slide produces high volume parts with hard tooling. When lower volume is needed, various benders and proprietary tooling is used. Forming, either spring tempered material or mild steel, can be done in low or high volume. We can provide minimum bend radius information if needed.

Spring materials are available in many sizes and types. The top four being:

1) MUSIC WIRE
2) HARD DRAWN
3) OIL-TEMPERED
4) STAINLESS TYPE 302 for heat and corrosion resistance.
